Patch 3.1 has caused some downtime! Annnnd that's pretty much the worst part of patches. If you're as anxious as I am to find out when/if your server is back up then check out WOW Realm Status. If you want up to date information on which of the realms you play are up or down, what their load or population is currently they've got that information and more. One of the coolest features available on the site is SMS notifications when your server comes back online - so you can head to our Free To Play section, download something and play while you wait....and then be the first person in queue as soon as your WoW Realm is back online!WOW Guide

There are some marked improvements over the Realm Status Page put up Blizzard, those are:

1. Realm Status Buttons for your guild site / forums
2. SMS Text Messages When your Realm is back up
3. Nice breakdown of Realms by Time Zone & Region They cover both US & EU Realms and have instructions on how to get an SMS message sent to your phone on a bunch of different carriers.
